What makes us unique...
* Our school is set on large open grounds on a beautiful plot away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Large grassed grounds provide the children with a feeling of freedom and allowing them to enjoy a rural environment.
* Our grounds have a vegetable patch and animal pen, where the children learn responsibility by watering the vegetables and helping with the feeding of the animals on a daily basis.
* We believe that every child needs individual attention therefore we keep our classes small and have not more than 13 children per teacher, therefore we are able to concentrate on your child’s needs.
* We recognize each child as an individual who is unique and special, learning at his/her own pace and in their own way.
Striving towards well-balanced, happy kids
Northriding Pre-Primary actively works towards developing your child’s gross and fine motor skills. We look to improve their EQ (emotional intelligence) and coordination. We strive to develop children who are positive, happy and self-confident and prepare our children for their journey to formal education.
Our classes are equipped with educational toys, puzzles, games and constructional toys. All of these are designed to stimulate yours child’s mind while learning. Your child will learn about music, art, colors, shapes, and numbers and have access to our books in our library.
Fine Motor skills Indoor – Through art a child is able to interpret the world around him/her. Art helps a child clarify his perceptions and gives meaning and structure to his experiences.
Gross Motor skills Outdoor – Children enjoy the freedom of movement while developing gross motor skills in our large grassed grounds.
Music –Music is an integral part of auditory perception.
Nature – Our grounds provide a rural experience for the children, they are surrounded by the sounds on nature during the day, we promote and teach our children environmental awareness and allow interaction with nature which includes gardening, growing vegetables, supervised feeding of the “Valley Friends” our Farm Animals.
Our constructive playroom was designed to allow the children to break away from the day and be able to be free, while learning and developing at the same time. The room has a library corner, blackboard and fantasy play corner.
