Yes! Thank you very much for the wonderful walk I was able to do on Sunday at The Wilds.
Now that TJ has organised it to be a safe and interesting time spent at The Wilds,
I realised how much I have missed walking through indigenous areas in our Gauteng Province.
The views from the top of the north-facing vista - above all the colours of purple and green trees was breathtaking on an absolutely beautiful day.
Thank you to TJ and his wife and family and friends for their attendance and enthusiasm shown in creating a superb walk through nature.
I hope many more interested people in Gauteng will attend - please advertise this more in our local newspapers.
Regards
Adele Simpson

My husband and I would like to thank you VERY much for giving us back the Wilds. We joined your morning walk on Tuesday 21st and so enjoyed being able to walk there again after an absence of 20 years. We were from the flatland of Berea and often walked to the Wilds on a Sunday.
We were quite amazed to see the number of people and dogs who participated. Families, singles, all ages and I am not sure who had more fun - us or the dogs!
We were interested to read in your brochure that the Wilds had been declared a national monument in 1981 - I had never known of this!
However, it is sad to see how the Wilds has been left to deteriorate, but we could certainly see all the improvements you and your fellow Wilds enthusiasts have made. I am sure as the word spreads more and more walkers will join you on your organized walks.
We have just had a Municipality election and at election time job creation is high on everyone's agenda! What an opportunity to offer permanent and temporary employment to the people of Gauteng, if only a few, to bring our parks up to the conditions they should be in, and to maintain them, for the enjoyment of residents.
The Wilds is such a wonderful place, quite unique - may it be around for many, many years for future generations to enjoy.
Thank you all again for your efforts and we shall join you again on one of your walks.
Elizabeth
