Kids holiday camps, adventure parties & school camps

Camp Nelu is nestled at the foot of the Magaliesburg Mountain Range in the Hekpoort area, 15 km from Magaliesburg, and only 35 km from Krugersdorp.

The brand new camp provides rustic yet very comfortable accommodation for both teachers and children. It offers sleeping facilities for 144 children in 8 spacious en-suite dormatories sleeping 18 each.
Teachers are accommodated in 2 chalets, each with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and kitchenette. Facilities include large swimming pool, kitchen, huge thatched lapa that has enough seating for at least 300 and a well stocked tuck shop.

There is a large natural dam that plays host to over 100 species of birds. The bird life is amazing, and the abundant wild life in the area loves to chomp on our grass at night.

Many groups love the hikes which can last a day. Some groups also choose to camp overnight.

Camp Nelu is the best camp I have been to so far. Grade 4 Camp St Davids Marist Brothers Sandton March 2010. My favourite thing was doing the archery. The food was great. The camp guides were awesome - Rhyno, Cupcake, GiGi, Rudi, Smiley and Kola. It was such fun. Thank you!

I went to Camp Nelu not sure what to expect...WOW! it was the best "tour" i have ever been on,the activities the food everything was awesome! I want to thank Biscuit/Jolly Jammers, Rhyno and of course Cupcake for making me laugh and making it the best camp i have ever been on. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! PS: Thanx for the beanie Rhyno

I went to Camp Nelu and I had such a GREAT time, it was an unforgettable experience. i miss everyone there Biscuit,Richard,Smiley, EVERYONE even the snakes!! hahaha
And i went there in 2007 and Im hoping to go back. (with my church this time). I LOVE IT!!!

I went to Camp Nelu for my gr 6+7 tour in 2007+2008 and it was the best outdoor experience I have ever had with Planky and Biscuit and all the other facilitators.

The gr 6+7 of agape christian school went to Camp Nelu. The gr7 of 2008 went 2 years in a a row and it was the best camp of our lives. I just want to thank all our facilitators, Planky,Cookie/Biscuit, Dukes, Smiley, Rhino and we'd also like to thank the kitchen ladies for satisfing our hunger whenever needed,
IT WAS THE BEST CAMP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND IM SURE MY CLASSMATES WOULD AGREE.

I went to Camp Nelu for Grade 6 tour in 2008 and I can say with all honesty that it is the best place I have ever been to and the facilitators are the best and keep you entertained all day long!!!

WOW!! I have planned various excursions for my school kids. We have gone all over Gauteng. And I can say with all honesty that Camp Nelu was sofar the best!! The people who work there are amazing! The location is beautiful! The price is really reasonable. I recommend Camp Nelu to anyone and everyone.
