time	We arrange events, treats and outings and always require the assistance of child-friendly and caring volunteers who are affectionately called Magical Fairies. Our events are mostly held on Tuesdays/Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10h00-13h00.

We are a fully volunteer-driven organisation and 100% of donations are invested in our intended beneficiaries, the children.

We always require the assistance of child-friendly volunteers.

As we purchase most of our treats for our events from Makro Woodmead, a gift voucher would be most useful which would help us fill treat packets with chips, sweets, biscuits, sweets, colouring-in books & crayons and various other goodies, sugar & spice and all things nice!

As we do not have a driver and our beneficiaries do not have vehicles or transport, please give your generosity "wheels" and arrange to deliver to the office in Kelvin, near Woodmead.

Children's Non-profit organisation

Magical Moments is a registered, non-profit charitable organisation that creates "Magical Moments & Extra-ordinary Days" for abused, abandoned, disadvantaged, neglected, orphaned, underprivileged and vulnerable children in Johannesburg, of all cultures, race and religion – "rainbow children".

Most of the children we reach out to come from severely financially disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds and many experience extreme trauma and difficulty through poverty, neglect and abuse. We give the children a chance to escape from the harsh world that they come from and live in – a chance to play, to laugh, to have fun, to indulge, to celebrate, to be children and for a magical moment, to forget.

We give children the chance to experience a world beyond their own.
