The Bryanston Organic & Natural Market is a haven of calm in a hectic city where you can enjoy leisurely shopping in a peaceful, outdoor environment. Visit us and find organic and natural produce, a deli section that includes foods for those that have allergies and special dietary needs. In the Kids Quarter children can enjoy craft activities that include candle dipping, sand art and puppet making workshops. And we feature a puppet show once a quarter.
One of the great things about the market is that you can talk to the crafters who make the products they sell and find out about the craftsmanship that goes into each item.
The Market's ethos is to do all we can to support the world around us and leave a better place in which our children can thrive.
Moonlight Markets
Every Tuesday evening from 16 November until Christmas we hold our much loved Moonlight Markets, 5 pm to 9 pm. These evening markets offer the opportunity to dine, listen to live music and browse among 120 unique stalls.
The December evening markets have a traditonal Christmas theme with a Nativity parade and Carols By Candlelight - all under the Jo'burg stars at 7 pm. These markets are great fun for children, they can take part in lots of Christmas Craft activities and make gifts for family and friends.
The Organic Market has been part of Joburg's life since 1976 and continues to support Michael Mount Waldorf School, its outreach programmes in urban and rural areas, fee reductions and capital development.
There is always live music, ample secure parking and entrance is free.
